Death Registration Appointment

You are booking an appointment to register a death. When selecting an appointment date, please try to book this within 5 days of the date of death.

To check you can register the death in the London Borough of Enfield, please answer the following questions. These questions relate to the person who will be attending the appointment.

A death cannot be registered without either a Coroner's Certificate or a valid Medical Cause of Death Certificate signed by a doctor or GP. Please book your appointment after you have collected the medical certificate or have been advised that the Coroner has sent their Certificate to us. If there is an Inquest, you normally do not need to register the death as the Coroner will do this for you.
