Order a Replacement Certificate

We offer replacement certificates for Births, Deaths, Marriage and Civil Partnerships that have occurred in the London Borough of Enfield.

If you registered your child in Enfield but they were born in Barnet, you will need to order from Barnet Register Office

Certificate Fees

• Standard Service - £12.50 per certificate 
• Priority Service - £38.50 per certficate

Standard applications take around 10 working days. If you need a certificate more quickly you can select our Priority Service.
A Priority application is processed by the next working day. Orders placed after 3pm, Saturday, Sunday or a bank holiday are not processed until the next full working day. 

Terms and Conditions

By ordering a certificate you are confirming that: 

• You authorise us to start work on your certificate request immediately;
• You agree to pay costs for any work carried out on your behalf;
• If we are unable to find the entry from the details you provide or you decide to cancel your application, no refund will be made.
• We do not accept liability for loss, damage or failure of delivery for certificates dispatched by post and, therefore, we will not refund or issue replacements.

Please check before placing your order that the event did occur within the London Borough of Enfield. If you have very little or no details regarding a registration aside from a name, or only know the event took place in Edmonton, for example, then we would recommend you contact the General Register Office who can do a more in-depth search for all the districts in England and Wales. 'Edmonton District' entries cover multiple different areas which means we may not have the entry you seek. 

For the purpose of detection and prevention of crime, information relating to this application may be passed to other government departments or law enforcement agencies.
